Map of ‘study area’ for Seletar Aerospace Park
July 20, 2006
*EDITED*
The red lines outline the boundary of the airport area which is 93.3 ha. In addition to that, the authorities want to take another 140ha (where all the little houses are) and turn it into industrial land with hangars and such.

Yes, I like to have a look at the video too. I missed the seletar camp. I lived in the camp for almost 2 yrs.
Every evening, I’ll cycle around the camp. A few of us love to go to the end of the runway and just sit there enjoying the breeze as we talk about the future of our nation. There were no fence around the runway during those days.
I do not think you have explored the most beauty part of the camp. It’s the lovely wet gap that you have decided to cropped off. There were cranes there during the right season, it’s lovely to just watch them. Try to get access and film the birds.

Hi Kevin. You can view the video via the link on the menu bar that says “Watch the Film”.
Your memories sound lovely. Yes, we heard about cranes but couldn’t get into the army camp to film them… we saw one crane, briefly, on the golf course but he was so shy. He flew away once he spotted us.
